There are many people that support your cause that live in San Quentin Village, just outside of the gate (myself included). Please be respectful of the neighborhood and the people that live there.
I agree with what matt is saying. I recently moved but lived on grounds. Many people work outside of the grounds or have kids who do. please let them arrive or leave the prison safely. Just because they live there or work there doesnt mean they dont support your cause.

The CA state prison system does not make the laws and policies! The CA state legislate. does. …..Plus they have more comfortable grass grounds.

Just wait until some scumbag piece of garbage rapes and kills your wife, child or relative. Then see how caring you feel for those dirt bags inside our prisons. Its very well known what will happen to you if you are caught doing a horrific crime, if you don’t want to be treated badly in prison, don’t commit the crime. The liberal thinking is killing us. We should be making the punishment much more severe, not giving these social parasites more rights and freedom! Utilize the death penalty….now!
What the public doesn’t know is that the inmates receive better care than most free citizens. There are education, vocational, and self-help programs that inmates are assigned, instead of a WORK program. If you or I wanted to further our education, we would have to WORK to be able to afford school. And then, find the time to go to school without interfering with the work schedule (and the kids’ school schedules, or dinner, or baseball, or soccer). Life inside the prison is a huge improvement for those who were living under bridges with no food and no medical care. Now they get 3 meals a day, and some of the best medical, dental, and vision care. And it’s paid for by us.
We all learn the laws as we grow, and most of the inmates just won’t follow rules, no matter how insignificant. So, if you don’t want your loved ones to be subject to the “inhumane” treatment in the prison (which, by the way is usually doled out by other inmates), teach them to follow rules and act within the laws of the land. And use the energy and effort you put into this Occupy San Quentin protest, into the education of our youth so that they become better citizens who can effect the change you desire.
You aholes need to go get a job . You waste taxpayers money to support these convicted felons who have murdered molested or even sodomized young children .Maybe they have killed an innocent person’s family member.
